Responsibilities

 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to interact positively with parents and children 
  • The ability to work openly and cooperatively as a team. 
  • The ability to perform physical tasks required to implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program.
  • Computer knowledge for child assessment purposes.
Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education 

Qualifications:

  • The love for working with children
  • Work experience in the field of early childhood education, * Preschool age.
  • Work experience in classroom management 
  • Ability to maintain professional confidentiality.
  • Adherence to LARA (licensing) requirements, including but not limited to: CPR, First
  • Aid, Health & Safety training, MiRegistry staff profile, Comprehensive Childcare
  • Background Check, Mandated Reporter, etc.
  • Meet the ISD and program requirements for professional learning.
